The MSI B550M Pro-VDH works well. A board under $120 won’t be outstanding, but with a 5700G you need BIOS Flashback, and this one offers some of the best value. It provides sufficient VRMs for eight cores and includes enough features for most users.

I’d suggest the MSI B550M Bazooka and MSI B550-A Pro because they provide a more flexible upgrade route compared to the Pro-VDH, while still supporting BIOS Flashback. Both can accommodate 16-core components, giving you access to a wide range of future upgrades. You also have solid VRMs on the 5700G to support overclocking efforts—just keep in mind not to push too hard on the 5950X with these boards.
