I searched for compatible CPUs for my Barbone but didn’t find a suitable option. Anyone know another source besides eBay in Europe? Here’s the list you provided: Intel® Core™ i3 series, i5 series, and a few T-series models. I’m using these in my bedroom PC. Wouldn’t mind alternatives if needed.

Yes, you can install Windows 7 in a virtual machine and run it on any new CPU.
