as of a few weeks ago fortnite has been playing choppy.... and i noticed it in BF1 and all my other games are running choppy. my FPS is normal and no hardware damage, it played all the games smooth before.. i got a ssd and copied everything over nothing.. i started fresh and reinstalled everything including windows.. nothing... most of the games are playable but annoying... other just strain my eyes where i can not play at all. bf4 for some reason plays smooth. other games that are notiably choppy now (normal fps) fortnite, bf1, r6, gta5, farmingsim 19. bf4 and also beamNG drive play normal. ryzen 5 1500, 16 gig g skill ram 1070TI, win 10 and now a 1T SSD. and yes i turned down settings on them all. i ddi get a app for my security cams so i can watch them live on my pc but they where choppy on the new install before i got the app again, and my wife has and runs the app on her pc with no issues. temps are normal as well and 144HZ monitor, ive also tried "setting priority" turning game mode on and off. and yes windows is set for 144hz. i tried to record it to show a friend but the recording was SMOOTH so i am at a loss. the security system app is AVSS from ZOSI.. i will see if snowrunner runs nice i have yet to try that.. few hours later update... snow runner was meh, so i was playing fortnite and when i was playing my team was looting so i brought up control panel and uninstall and was going to uninstall something but didnt have time. tabbed back in i found out the game plays alot better with that running in the backround

I changed the drives to a new SSD and when that didn’t help, I did a full Windows reinstall and everything else. I’m considering a BIOS update now, thinking it might resolve the issue.
