I’m preparing to attempt overclocking my i7 7700k to about 5 ghz, but I’m uncertain if the hyper 212 evo I own can provide sufficient cooling. I learned that the Scythe fuma performed well, even surpassing the Noctua nd-h15 in performance while offering good value. Would it be possible for the Scythe fuma to effectively cool the CPU enough? If not, what alternatives would be needed?

Ensure you have a solid PSU. The cooler master is not ideal, but you might consider water cooling options or a superior CPU fan cooler as suggested.
