Hey everyone! I was curious if the amd ryzen 5 7600 was a solid choice for beginners with an radeon rx 7800 xt graphics card and a corsair rm850 power supply. There are mixed opinions out there, so I'm looking for more perspectives.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! If your goal is to create a system suited for 1440p gaming, the Ryzen 5 7600 is a suitable CPU choice. It also helps clarify your purpose if you're planning to use it for gaming—specifying the resolution you aim to achieve will be beneficial. Knowing which applications you plan to run on the system also aids in our understanding.
