GoG allows you to purchase games and simply install them without any DRM restrictions. You won’t need to go through Steam or similar platforms. Certain titles also let you claim them on Steam.

GOG.com belongs to CD Project RED. You’ll get the installer back without needing a CD key. They also run regular promotions, so signing up for their newsletter is a good idea.
