Now that more titles are available, I feel more confident about my choice. Ghost of Tsushima is the game I’d really enjoy. I usually like third-person perspectives with a controller, but this one falls short in aiming and shooting.
It’s truly impressive, offering one of the most vivid and captivating game environments ever created. The creators obviously deeply admire the original source and delivered an excellent narrative about that segment of Japanese history, earning recognition in Japan.
They've never been available at this location for a long time, which made it impossible even if I had tried.
What bothers me most about controllers is the aiming. Mice easily knock them off balance. Controllers have some movement benefits, especially tiny adjustments, but when aiming comes in, they become too sensitive.
It's definitely accurate that a mouse offers the quickest aiming option. I tend to favor a stick for navigation. Using a keyboard never felt natural to me. For me, the ideal setup combines a mouse in one hand with a customized controller featuring a control stick. Have you encountered those Azeron controllers before? If not, search for "Azeron controller" on Google—they're impressive.
It seems there are two devices from the company with nearly identical names, but you're likely referring to the one that fits your left hand. The steam controller achieved a similar function by swapping the sticks for circular mouse pads. Sticks and mice offer very different ways of controlling input. Some users who know sticks really like them, while I haven't been one of those. My main concern is with keyboard movement—it's not analog. Adjusting speed or nudging forward to a precise spot can be quite challenging.
The Azeron strap is designed like a hand, featuring slots for four fingers and a thumb, along with numerous buttons per finger and a side-mounted control stick.
I managed to locate just one picture of the item with the strap. There were many more images of the other models. I’ll need to search again for the correct photo. The other device resembled a reverse plastic hand with a stick near the middle. I’ve seen similar things before. These kinds of devices were usually keyboard replacements meant for RSI issues. That was around the 2000s. What set this one apart was the strap, which held a mouse and seemed to function like a controller.
