I think you misunderstood. The version I did that in was in MC 1.6 EE2 doesn't exist past 1.2.5. When I had EE on the server I played on I was the Hardcore reactor guy. My nick was Reaktor or something like that, lol.

EE applies to misbehaving children. I used to manage it, and it was active for all users.
This was done in Tekkit Classic, a platform with numerous mods. It generates power from uranium, making EU/t energy highly valuable in the game and essential for most items. Nuclear reactors offer the most affordable and space-efficient method to produce large amounts of power. Solar panels follow as the next best option.
