So I've just upgraded my pc to a "gigabyte z690 gaming x ddr4" with an i3 12100f. I kept my rx 480, 16 GB of DDR4 2133mhz and a 600W psu. Whenever I turn on my pc, everything lights up and fans start spinning however there's completely no video output and a VGA led turns on. GPU fans ram up to maximum. I know that the rest of my components work because I've tested them. Things I've done trying to fix this issue: - reseating gpu - running with 1 ram stick - booting up pc with different gpu - connecting monitor trough DP and HDMI - reseting CMOS - making sure that everything is connected properly - praying to machine God for help I've spent many hours now trying to figure out what's wrong so I hope that someone can help me, because I'm out of ideas.

I resolved the problem and successfully got video output. The only thing left was installing my GPU into a different PCIe slot...

Ensure each PCIe x16 port functions; the highest port is recommended. If it fails, consider returning the device.
