Gigabyte Z370 gaming model with 32GB RAM experiencing boot problems when using XMP profiles.
Hello, I previously used a 2x8GB Corsair kit and managed to enable XMP. Now I've added two more sticks but can't boot with XMP. Without it, everything works perfectly. I think using lower frequencies helps. I'm not an overclocker. I've tried the following steps: manually set timings, voltage at 1.2 as specified, and frequency set to 2666mhz. Could you assist me in achieving that frequency and getting my system up? Thanks ahead of time. Also, I notice different DRAM manufacturers listed but the same SKU appears on CPUZ: CMR16GX4M2A2666C16. System specs: Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 5 i7 8700k (turbo only, no OC). Voltage set to 1.3, auto setup didn't work. EVGA RTX 2080, Samsung 860 (250GB+500GB), NVMe M.2 WD 6TB Black Corsair H110iGT, Corsair AX1200i Creative ZXR.
