Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI-Odd USB speed flash drive.
Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI-Odd USB speed flash drive.
I've faced an issue with my Z170-XP-SLI motherboard where USB3 speeds are consistently stuck at 10-12 MB/s, dropping to around 512 KB/s or less. It hasn't been bothersome before, but I've been working on fixing it recently and haven't had much success. I've tried reinstalling the driver (Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller), but that didn't help. I also removed all other devices from the system without any changes, yet there was a driver listed for Windows 8.1 from 2015 that refuses to install even when using comp mode. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know!
