Yes, that's correct. You're using the SN850x and planning to go with 2x16GB SSDs. (3200Mhz from Corsair)

Hey there, thanks for reaching out! It’s totally normal to feel a bit overwhelmed when starting your first build—especially since this is your first time working with AMD.

It seems you're ready to proceed. For RAM, it's probably best to skip Corsair choices for Ryzen since many users there have faced problems with XMP settings.

Ugh, just placed the order now and I’ve already looked it over. I don’t usually touch RAM, but from what I know, handling it can cause issues.

It works well because it’s operating at the IMC’s officially supported 3200MHz frequency. However, 3600 kits are unpredictable—sometimes great, sometimes not. I’m fortunate to have the equipment I received with my 5950X.

I noticed only Samsung SATA3 870EVO MZ-77E250BW 250GB appears in the support list. I thought a 1TB and 2TB setup should be possible, and the 2TB model (sn850x Black) seems correct too. Didn't find the 2TB option, only 1TB and 4TB. What models are available? Updated November 29, 2022 by NB912

Yes, this should work fine. The instructions don’t mention removing the heatsinks since they’re already included. This is my first time seeing a support list for SSDs on a consumer site—it seems like just plug and play.

I handled it myself, appreciated your assistance; I verified everything thoroughly to avoid any compatibility problems with the motherboard, since fixing issues later is tougher. Now I’m left with just the CPU and PSU, as I’m keeping my existing GPU. (I’ve already purchased the case-4000D airflow, RAM, and NVMe SSDs.)

It should function, though the SN850X in the M2 port area will heat up significantly (around 80°C+). I switched to a PCIe adapter with four slots to lower the temperature to about 20°C. I was able to get my Corsair RAM running at 3600 MHz, but I had to return some sticks because they didn’t work on my board. So, try to steer clear of them.
