Looking for advice from someone with an AORUS Pro x570 ITX board. The X570 supports both my CPU and RAM in QVL mode, but I noticed the SYSFAN_2 header is flipped—it's meant for the M.2 slot instead of being a standard fan connector. This feels confusing because it suggests only two fan headers are technically available. Is there a way to use that header as a regular fan port? Or should I just remove the plastic guard? I’m considering an upgrade since my current board might be faulty, and I’d rather replace it than deal with a limited retailer. If you want more details, check out the linked article. SYSFAN_2 functions mainly as a PWM header with an additional layout. You don’t need to integrate it for M.2 and can fully detach the fan, exposing just the bare M.2 drive. However, linking a regular PWM fan might be challenging. The board supports up to 5000 MHz after BIOS update, but 6000 MHz won’t work since it uses AM5.

However, linking a regular PWM fan might be challenging. The board supports up to 5000 MHz after BIOS update, but 6000 MHz won’t work since it uses AM5.
