Gigabyte X570 BIOS documentation
You're adjusting settings and checking performance. The Cinebench score of 73 is good, but ensure temperatures stay within safe limits. High voltage could affect the chip even if temperatures are normal—keep an eye on it. Your approach of increasing multiplier and voltage while managing temps is solid. Keep up the learning!
A few clips from this video may not apply since X570 comes out of the box with third-gen support, though certain functions could differ or be missing.
How much distance did you cover with your 3900X at over 4.4GHz? What temperatures were recorded during the test?
High voltage can destroy CPUs regardless of temperature. For the second generation, keep it below 1.4V across all core stress tests.
I adjusted one chip to 4425 GHZ and another to 4325 GHZ. When idle it runs smoothly at about 40 c or lower, moderate use sits between 40-56, and gaming peaks at 56-75. Stress tests reach around 80.
It seems to be a solid build, though it misses some of the Asus-specific details from the overclocking clip. Still, it’s a great board overall.
