Gigabyte X570
Gigabyte X570
One of the top options for its price, especially after the early problems have been resolved since release
Ask again Thursday, I'll secure that board for someone's new setup then. I've worked well with another Gigabyte board for a different Ryzen configuration, and they offer solid warranty support in my area. Besides, the memory compatibility looks great, and the tier list on this forum rates it highly as well.
Those concerns are valid. I remain cautious about suggesting them despite improvements.
I recently assembled the PC. The motherboard performs well. No overclocking was done. General use is fine. I installed 3600Mhz RAM and enabled XMP, which functioned properly. Be aware that once XMP is activated, the system will restart automatically—don’t revisit the BIOS immediately. Just set it to XMP and wait a moment; it’s configured correctly. The only issue is the limited number of fan headers. The board includes two headers for system/chassis/case fans and two CPU fans (all four-pin). The case headers are on the left, while the CPU headers are on the right. More on the right would have helped, as that’s what was limiting my progress yesterday. Just verify how many headers you need before starting.
I have an AIO (so atleast 2 headers for pump and a splitter for my rad fans) And a fan front and back. Looks like i wait for the sales!
