Hello,
I’m looking for a safe method to overclock the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming GPU. I have the following setup: processor i5 4690k, motherboard MSI Gaming 3, 2x4GB HyperX RAM, and a 650 Corsair VS power supply. The GPU lacks any cooling solution, so I’m seeking advice on how to safely increase its performance and improve in-game FPS. Please help me out!

Watch some videos reading articles. I use msi afterburner to safely and easily overclock its GPU. Just monitor your GPU temperatures and make sure they stay low, you definitely don’t need a water cooler for this process. This should help you begin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUEMS-B1Siw

The GPU was modified by the manufacturer, so pushing it further will not be wise, as stability problems might arise.
