Hello everyone! I have a computer with that configuration: GIGABYTE GA-Z170XP-SLI intel I5-6500, Team T-Force Vulcan, 16GB PNY GTX1060, 6GB Team Group L7, 120GB SATA III EVGA 600W PSU. The issue is, I got a CPU from a friend (i5-7600K) in his setup. I understand I need to update the BIOS to make it work, and that’s what I did. Now I have the F22F BIOS, but when I try to boot with the 7600K it doesn’t work. I’ve cleared the CMOS, but I can’t find a solution. If anyone has dealt with this problem before, please let me know! P.S. Sorry, I’m French.

I'm not certain about the 7600K's condition; it should function with your F22 BIOS. After the update, does the board support an i5-6500?

YES 6500 performs well... it seems the 7600k might be defective.
