Hey everyone, thanks a lot for your time. I’m struggling to figure out why 144hz isn’t displaying on my new monitor at 3440x1440 resolution—works fine on my desktop but not on the laptop. I’m using MiniDP 1.4 to convert DP with a 1.4 cable from my Gigabyte G5 RTX 3060 laptop, and DP 1.4+HDR is enabled in the monitor settings. I only have these options for the photos. Since I’m pretty new to this, please don’t hesitate to help me out. Appreciate any advice!

Check if your laptop's DP port matches the required refresh rate and resolution. Open Windows Settings, go to Display settings, and verify that the values align with your intended configuration.

It seems the setup isn't quite what you expected. The IGPU is connected to the mini DP, not the RX 3060, and it doesn't support higher than 100Hz at this resolution. You might try a USB-C to DisplayPort cable to test compatibility.

Consider disabling your GPU in the BIOS settings to ensure it utilizes the RTX 3060.
