I was planning to purchase this motherboard for around 10€. Two of the pins are damaged, and I wanted to verify their purpose. The seller mentioned it functioned properly during his last test, but I need confirmation. He shared a photo with me.

Check page 112 carefully https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/pu...asheet.pdf. I believe it's a VSS pin, which means it's a voltage connector and likely a spare part. Have you selected the entire board? The build looks rough. Also, what are your plans for using it? The 4th generation Intel chips are quite outdated, and I wouldn't suggest using them for new systems. They don't even support Windows 11.

The connector appears slightly disorganized but seems acceptable. Verify the datasheet to confirm it uses only VSS pins. If confirmed, it should be okay.

Vss and vcc are largely unnecessary, you won't lose much by dropping them.

Great if you want extra support, Haswell handles RAM well—your stick should work easily (2800+ is achievable, similar to Hynix 4Gbit models or 2Gbit systems).
