Hello, I own a Gigabyte X570 motherboard that has been identified with a recent security flaw. Several reports suggest turning off the "Settings / IO Ports / APP Center Download & Install Configuration" setting in the BIOS. But when I try to enter IO Ports, that option disappears entirely. Perhaps it’s because I never used the Gigabyte APP Center feature in Windows? I wasn’t sure if this vulnerability was linked to Gigabyte’s desktop software at all. Or maybe a malicious component exploited the flaw and altered my BIOS file, replacing it with something modified. I hope not! XD Note: Updated Gigabyte BIOS versions now include security checks on downloaded content, but I still don’t want my motherboard automatically downloading files without my permission, no matter the source’s reliability.
