Hello everyone, I've hit the ceiling of what I understand about this setup. Need guidance from someone more experienced. Just launched a new build about two months ago and everything is running perfectly. Performed a restart this morning, but the computer stays on the boot light. In BIOS it lists the NVME as bootable and the other NVME as N/A, along with the GPU. The only way to see anything is through the IGUI. I’m confident about system compatibility since I’ve been using it for two months. I tried disconnecting everything, removing the GPU and RAM, clearing CMOS by short-circuiting and taking the battery out, and even flashed the BIOS to the latest version. Still nothing. The motherboard passes checks, VGA works, RAM tests, but it freezes at boot. Maybe the NVME lanes aren’t being detected? Or I’m missing something.
It seems we're confirming the UEFI partition isn't detected. Before concluding anything is lost, I'd attempt a boot from an Ubuntu live USB. Simple to set up and will immediately tell you if your system can start. Regarding hardware, if you want to verify individual parts, try connecting them to another machine one at a time. If they function properly, the issue likely lies with the motherboard. Remember, your components remain covered under warranty. Good luck!
Completed a full repair process via phone support. They concluded the entire drive is non-functional. While it can identify SATA drives when connected, NVMe or GPU won’t show up. Initiated an RMA, but I’ll need to locate a compatible MOBO with a similar lane that supports RAM and CPU so I can get it working quickly. I’m currently working from home full-time on this PC and need it urgently.
They verified it was the motherboard connection, not the CPU, by checking the PCI-E lane assignments.
Typically, most AM5 boards can handle a GPU and two NVMe drives. Ensure the board includes two 8-pin EPS connectors for sufficient power delivery to your CPU.
