Hey everyone! I just finished setting up the build and when I powered it on, it worked for a bit before going silent. The motherboard showed a flashing DRAM light and displayed two error codes—52 and 15. I took it to Microcenter for a full check-up, which confirmed the board likely isn’t functioning properly. It’s frustrating because I bought it from Newegg, hoping their return policy would help, but I missed the 30-day window by five days. Now I’m planning to contact Gigabyte for an RMA, though I’ve heard many scary stories online. Do you think there’s any chance this board can be fixed?
50-53 AMI post code indicates memory initialization error. 15 refers to System Agent or North Bridge during pre-memory setup. 50-53 (52 in your situation) needs verification using beep codes. You should connect the small diag speaker near the FP or on the FP header. Code 15, especially when the North Bridge is integrated into the CPU, might require testing another CPU before performing RMA. Would you like confirmation that Microcenter used a different CPU?
