Gigabyte B250 designed for gaming performance
Found a budget-friendly board under 30 euros to swap in for my basic Acer G3 710 motherboard. It offers solid performance for the cost. Should it handle gaming and other tasks without mining? I have an i7-7700 and GTX 1080. There’s minimal detailed info available, but it seems like a reasonable choice given the specs.
This motherboard offers solid performance with four dimming slots and robust power delivery. Although it doesn’t include many SATA ports, the placement is unusual but functional. There aren’t any obvious issues for a gaming setup.
It looks like this board might be bigger than usual ATX models. Could be just your perception, but keep in mind your ready-made setup may not fit ATX cases.
I removed the pre-made predator case some time ago—it had a nice look, but it wasn’t useful for practical use.
