Hello, your recent upgrade to a Core i5 12600k with a Gigabyte Aorus Elite z690 board hasn’t caused any problems, unlike your previous setup. The speaker parasite noise you’re hearing when using the RTX 3080 seems unrelated to your new hardware. Your audio is routed through an RME Babyface pro via USB, and moving the monitors didn’t help. Since the issue persists, consider checking for loose connections or interference sources, and if the problem continues, return the motherboard for further evaluation.

What PSU? If you get a new board get a different model. Chances are you're going to experience it again if you get the same model.

Consider trying a different USB port. I faced an issue with buzzing speakers when turning on my headlights, which happened because of tight connections. Using shielded cables helped, but maybe relocating the port could also make a difference. I’m not sure about the exact steps, but it might be worth experimenting.

I attempted to connect the audio interface to rear USB2, rear USB3.2, case front US2, but it didn’t work. It’s really annoying since I need large 8-inch monitors for music production, and the noise is extremely noticeable.

Hello, I understand your concern. Would replacing the motherboard be a good idea for an MSI Tomahawk, or is it likely you’ll face the same problem again?
