Check the compatibility on the manufacturer's site. The listing claims support for AMD Ryzen series, but your CPU lacks G-series support. Without a BIOS update, it may not function properly.

Check this page for all compatible CPUs for that board. The Ryzen 5 4500 is shown, and the non-G BIOS version F2 is the initial BIOS released with the motherboard. It should function perfectly. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/A52...upport-cpu

They mentioned 4000 G series because it’s a standard category, not just for G models. Even if it doesn’t fit the G specs, it’s still compatible and well-supported.

Review the CPU options that match your motherboard. They don’t display all of them at once, making the main page too crowded. That’s why they provided the linked list for you. The Ryzen 5 4500 is fully compatible with this board without needing a BIOS update.
