choosing this for a budget build—have the current models already updated with the newest BIOS? every company refreshes their BIOS when they release new stock, right? can a 3400G run even without the latest BIOS? it’s still a second-generation model.

They make updates, though timing varies based on the manufacturing date of your board.

The A320 motherboards are incompatible with the 3000 series CPUs. This is the only chipset that doesn’t support them.

The support page confirms availability for the latest models. Slottr also addressed my concerns regarding updates.

Most AIBs have secretly backed 3rd gen on A320. The main issue is whether they can keep this support for the Ryzen 4000.

False claims are raising issues with AMD since they state they won’t back the 3000 series on the A320 chipset. Unfortunately, the update will only cover the 3400g, not a full 3000 series CPU. A 3400g should be fine, I missed that detail earlier.

Another query... can A320 boards adjust voltage? My 2600 handles significant overvoltage on the B450 board. I understand they can't overclock, but I'm curious about their ability to manage voltage.
