The situation was that my Gigabyte motherboard failed, so I replaced it with an Asus model that has a compatible CPU socket (1150). I brought all the necessary components from the previous one. Should I need to reset everything or can I simply connect and use it?

You can link everything and pray, but it's better to focus on one thing at a time to ensure it's not dead. For your operating system, you might need to reinstall it.
