It seems quite unusual. You changed providers from Sky to a fiber service and set up your new router with separate 2.4/5GHz networks under different names. The old 2.4GHz network vanished while the 5GHz one remained. Even after trying to log in again, it keeps reminding you. This is definitely frustrating.

Confirm that 2.4GHz is the sole hidden network. Ensure the hidden network option is disabled.

These two networks, named sky2.4 and sky5, were part of my previous router with my old ISP. They no longer exist. The router is now unplugged and disconnected, yet the 5GHz model claims to be active.

It appears on your phone. Can you check if it appears on any other gadgets?

All gadgets display the same view: sky, two paces, four phones, and a tablet.

Your gadgets aren’t linking properly? Could a neighbor be using the same Sky WiFi network name as yours, or might you have overlooked a nearby repeater or extender?

I called it Skynet5ghz, which might be a chance, though odd there isn't anyone with a Skynet2.4ghz. I do have an extender, but it only works at 2.4ghz.

you have multiple iPhone and possibly a MacBook on the network? Are you insistent on this being an AP you have no reason to assume it is a new neighborhood setup on a local ISP? I know you are strongly suggesting it but to be clear it is good to verify Not to spook, but check your mobile (Google or apple) accounts for devices that are logged in on your account. If you don't use them actively and have any reason to not use it in the immediate future id remove them. To be clear I mean check for activity you don't recognize on your accounts Also print or get written down MAC's of the hardware that is the mystery ssid. Reset your network settings on the safe side, both devices and the current home network you have.
