It's free until Sunday, so you and your two friends can play it. What do you think about multiplayer or the story mode? I don’t want to drop in midway and leave it unfinished, especially since I’m not paying 16 quid. Thanks!

I suggest checking out its story and multiplayer features, giving each a fair look so you can weigh the advantages and disadvantages. That might help you decide if the £16 is worth it.

Wildlands seems to be the better option.

telling its tale can’t be trusted—it’s really tangled up with so many goals at once. playing with friends who just want to have fun makes it even more confusing. SPOILER I reached a point where someone killed civilians, then I imagined complaining to my dad and the shooter getting hit back, but honestly who was the one shot? Later it turns out he’s sharing this as a story to a black character, and I’m wondering what really happened—was it the main character named Skill or someone controlling the flying swarm?

Wildlands aren't completely free. A lot of folks say division 2 is a better option, so I'd go for that if I were buying a game.

It's a significant improvement! I really enjoy Wildlands. Apart from the mandatory stealth missions (I've found two so far), it offers great controls and the weapon handling is quite enjoyable. Division 2 feels much smoother, though I agree it's better than Wildlands. TTK shines in Wildlands for quick bursts or sniping, and the transition between perspectives works well. Division 2 is definitely more polished overall.

Wildlands and Division 2 each have their own strengths, though they differ. Breakpoint was a significant letdown.
