Sure, it's still in early testing. A noticeable boost in performance when the game officially releases is unlikely given your current 50fps on ultra settings with 2 980tis at 1440p.

Seems like the second 980Ti isn't being used fully. I see around 60-70 in the first zone and 80-90 in the second on a 1070 at ultrawide 1080p. Yet it still freezes sometimes without any clear reason. Fun game though—physics are really off, and holding W and S while the car stops would make sense for optimization. I think they’d fix it better before release.

Understanding Ubisoft, "resolution and framerate are just numbers" and the past of failed titles means it’s likely to be a flawed product when it releases.

I achieve about 50 frames per second with full settings. Great performance. I also use Gsync. It's a nice experience playing together. Ready to buy!

SLI isn't functioning properly yet (at least for me). It's still a beta, but there are many bugs to resolve before it's stable. I experience full performance on both cards when using SLI, but it doesn't improve at all. I've resolved the crashing and blue screen issues, yet high SLI settings still cause problems—48 single 980 fps gives me 52 frames, but at 1440p it's rough with texture glitches, blurry edges, and shimmering everywhere. I find the concept appealing, and I hope developers fix these issues. It reminds me of FC4.

That remark about resolution and framerate seems completely out of place—it probably wasn’t meant to talk about a PC release at all. I don’t recall many Ubisoft titles locking their render settings for PC, and most offer 60 FPS or higher even with some optimization hiccups. It still feels odd that the company wouldn’t be held accountable for that claim. It’s more about typical caution from any developer than a strict policy. Wildlands might have issues, but it’s just standard advice when evaluating any game. Ubisoft has launched several stable titles recently, like For Honor just a short time ago.

Only a handful of titles were affected; they were reduced in quality upon release.

Both cards are used, but it doesn’t boost performance. It’s a bit like in BF1—hope they fix it, since I really enjoy it so far.

Honor is a complete mess right now. The delays and peer-to-peer issues are just funny.
