Hi guys, I thinking right now about buying Wukong on steam. But I found out, that there is "upcoming" the DLC for Dying Light 2, The Beast (with Crane as a main character, and voice ^^), but Techland didn't specified a date yet. It looks like it will be very soon, but dunno.. I could wait few days if anyone know anything about it, then play it and after that, buy a Wukong with some patches already released. Anyone ?

I wouldn't purchase Wukong once you've reviewed their terms of service.

The terms of service have issues.

Dying Light 2 and its related expansion appear dull and overly commercialized, resembling a typical fast-food title. I’d always prefer Wukong to Dying Light.

Dying Light The Beast isn't a DLC—it's a complete game. If you have Dying Light 2 Ultimate Edition, you can get it for free. Should you purchase both or is there a cost limit?

if you say something they don't like, it might affect the game, but it depends on the rules and how they handle feedback.

You might get blocked for mentioning the word "covid."

These terms apply to free samples for influencers. Because numerous gaming media outlets aimed to promote their social views, the creators decided to halt it appropriately. I believe it’s positive that developers remain firm and prioritize the game itself over issues that only a niche online audience seems interested in. Real gamers enjoy the title and give it high marks—9/10 or 10/10—but Western critics rate it lower, around 6/10 or 7/10, citing problems with diversity and inclusivity. This highlights how game journalism often diverges from the actual players, who are more focused on gameplay than political agendas. These discussions feel more like a fictional tale than a serious review.

Consider this option: perhaps it works if you're an influencer, receive a free version from the developers, and weave in a Covid conversation while discussing Wukong.
