I recently upgraded my HDD to an HDD + SSD configuration, cloned the old HDD to the new SSD, and everything worked smoothly. After installing Windows fresh on the SSD, I realized my system had a different user setup—my background, apps, and data were missing. I’m wondering if it’s possible to transfer just the user folder from the HDD to the SSD instead of moving everything else. I’m not sure if this is feasible, but I’m doing my best to clarify.

when installing windows you'll always get a fresh user folder in the location you chose. it's unlikely you can relocate user folders without running into issues (maybe because of fixed paths in the registry).
