Hi everyone, I'm using a PC builder site that assembles components for me since I'm not very familiar with this process. I'm just curious if anyone has any thoughts on the build. It's mainly intended for gaming and I have a 1440p 165hz monitor, so I'm wondering if these specifications will work well with it.

Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X Eight Core CPU (3.4GHz-4.6GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard
ASUS® PRIME B550-PLUS (AM4, DDR4, PCIe 4.0)
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (1 x 32GB)
Graphics Card
12GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4070 - HDMI, DP, LHR
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7000MB/sR, 4700MB/sW)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 650W RM SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Processor Cooling
PCS FrostFlow 120 Series ARGB High Performance Liquid Cooler

I believe I might increase the power supply to 750 just for the extra load. Corsair RM750x would be a good alternative.
Am I looking at a ready-made prebuild or am I assembling components myself?
The only other issue I noticed and didn’t test is whether the motherboard requires a BIOS update to run that CPU. If so, you’ll likely need to check if it supports a flash feature that allows updates using just the motherboard with power connected.

Thank you for your response, it is a preconfigured build, but some components can be replaced as required and I have made minor changes. However, since it is a website that builds automatically, certain parts are limited. They do have the PSU upgrade you recommended, so I should definitely install that.

Concerning the motherboard, it should work with the CPU, but I wouldn’t finalize it unless confirmed. Please let me know again for confirmation and more details!

If they are preparing it, they will handle that part. It seems like a solid choice for performance versus price. The main drawback is that for the price, it wouldn’t justify the small performance boost needed to upgrade to something like an X3D version later. From what I see, AM4 is a strong pick right now, though it might require a core hardware update later to see real improvements. In terms of online pricing for 7xxx models, the cost is quite steep.

Do you mind if I ask who is building it and where it’s made?

One 512GB SSD might feel a bit too thin for a gaming system.
A few high-end AAA titles and their add-ons will take up half of that.
You REQUIRE additional storage capacity.
