I’m working on configuring a Supermicro H11SS‑i Rev2 with an AMD EPYC 7302 CPU and a 750 W power supply. The system boots but fails to complete POST, the IPMI interface remains unreachable. Once powered on, fans start but then fluctuate erratically, and the BMC LED shows intermittent heartbeat signals indicating incomplete initialization. A USB-connected keyboard works fine, hinting CPU activity, yet fans keep cycling up and down without settling. I’ve reset CMOS, used only one DIMM in slot C1, verified the 8-pin EPS connection, and turned off other peripherals, but no successful boot or IPMI requests occur despite the port’s LED indicating activity.
