I have an i5 2500k CPU at stock speed of 3.3ghz, and I’m looking to boost it to about 4.2ghz. I’m noticing that my graphics are getting limited by the CPU during games or streaming. I’d like to know what adjustments should be made in the BIOS beyond just changing the clock multiplier. Specifically, what voltage settings would be suitable for a 4.2ghz overclock?

I’m updating this thread now because I’ve decided to proceed and try it.
I’ve reviewed several guides (including links from Faktions) and recorded my CPU at 4.2 Ghz.
My voltages are varying between 0.9v and 1.25v, sometimes reaching a maximum of 1.33v to 1.37v, which is considered quite high for a 4.2Ghz overclock according to what I’ve seen.
I adjusted the voltage settings in the BIOS under the 'Dynamic Vcore' option, but HWmonitor still shows the same readings (1.37v at Max).
I checked guides for Gigabyte motherboards and found an option called 'CPU Vcore' on screenshots, but my BIOS only has 'Dynamic Vcore'.
This is my first overclocking attempt, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
