I believe production is slowing down. Last week ended with the 3600 on discount for 250 CAD. I own a 3600XT purchased in November, but it's been out of stock ever since, so that model seems to be gone. I bought mine for retail at 450 CAD, while a third-party seller on Newegg.ca lists it for 799 CAD. That’s pretty harsh. Is the upgrade worth the price jump? Yes, but not double the cost.
