Whenever I bring my laptop back from sleep, a black screen appears where I can only move the mouse. At times I manage to log in and access the terminal, but other times it blocks completely. Once I disconnect from the terminal, the display remains dark. The only solution seems to be turning off the laptop using the power button. I've tried this on both kernel versions 5.16.2 and 5.10.93. I have a Ryzen 4700U with Radeon graphics on my laptop, and I suspect this issue is causing the problems. The error logs from February 1st show repeated failures related to AMD GPU devices.

a recurring issue appears occasionally, is typically fixed in the upcoming kernel release, and reappears after some time https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204241

Feb 04 08:43:54 poslop-m kded5[1622]: plasma-nm: Not emitting connection deactivated notification as we're about to suspend that is the last messages before i shutdown. I changed it back to the default sleep settings, and everything functions properly now.
