Hi! Yes, it's possible to use Windows 10 for a month without activation. You can download the Creative Media Tool and activate it later when you're ready to buy the key.

I've been using Windows without turning it on for years and there have been no issues.

The only downside is missing some extra features found in the paid option. Most users won't need them. You'll also see a "please activate windows" watermark.

The Creator Media Tool setup process is confusing. I downloaded it, but I can't pick the operating system I prefer. I'm using a Windows 10 Pro laptop, yet it seems I can't change it.

If you purchase the CD, you can transfer the files to a USB drive if it supports booting. Since your new PC lacks a DVD drive, you’ll need to ensure the USB is compatible for installation.

It seems the only available options are a 32-bit or 64-bit version, or both, and the download includes both home and professional versions of Windows 10. You just need to pick the version you plan to buy the license key for during setup.
