I downloaded Destiny 2 in parts using offpeak data from my ISP, and it was the third night I did this. Remembering back, I recall it mentioned 36gb left, but now it shows 45gb remaining. Did Destiny 2 just receive a major update recently?

First error.
No.
Just download and install it as usual; the issue is resolved. It takes a few hours, but it's worth it because you can actually play it now. You wouldn't need to download and install it more than once.

my internet speed and off-peak times from the ISP allow me to download slowly, so i have to do it in segments.

Absolutely, but that represents half of my data set on the very first day of the month.

Why not try something else and improve your connection? My plan costs around $40 a month and it's very fast.

in our country all ISPs offer this type of package at this price. the next one is very costly and is accessible only to the affluent. even then, it offers little real benefit—you'll get roughly 20gb more with the same speeds. regarding fiber connections, they remain available mainly for offices. it's frustrating living in this situation; the average person really can't enjoy anything better.
