Hello. I'm looking into ways to download music from Google Play Music using full access as a file, like an .mp3. I tried SongSpout and it worked well until after ten songs, then it asked for a license. I also saw someone using F12 in Chrome to retrieve the file, but I’m not sure how that worked. Let me know if you need more details!

With a rooted Android device, you can install files on your own. A file browser lets you look for MP3s there. I’m not entirely confident this approach is still valid, since it might not be permitted.
