Usually GPU encoding works well, though it doesn’t offer high quality on Pascal. Upgrading to a CPU might be beneficial if you’re planning an upgrade.

I just moved from an i7-2600, RX 470 and 8GB DDR3 to a Ryzen 3 3100, GTX 1080 and 16GB RAM. What’s the next best upgrade? A Ryzen 5 3600? And what does “Pascal” mean I’ve never heard before?
