You'll need a new computer since your CPU isn't upgradable. Adding an SSD won't enhance CPU performance. This laptop is intended solely for office use and isn't designed for gaming. You can swap the HDD for a standard 2.5-inch SATA SSD, but this won't improve CPU or GPU speed.

Improving CPU and GPU performance is quite restricted. Keeping background processes active and using the built-in cooler to boost cooling are the main solutions people suggest. SSDs won’t enhance your processor or graphics card speed either, and overclocking isn’t possible. The best choices are upgrading to a new laptop with a dedicated GPU such as GTX 1650 or high-quality integrated graphics like Intel Xe or Radeon Vega, if you can afford it. I’d wait for the Steam Deck release. Edited July 28, 2021 by 0591ryan
