Custom built PC setup featuring Asus B550-F motherboard with Wi-Fi II CPU, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Corsair 16GB 2x8GB kit, Vengeance RGB Pro 3600MHz PSU, and 850W power supply. During POST, the MMO shows a DRAM orange flash with intermittent blinking every four seconds. No monitor signal detected; integrated MBOO GPU is active. RAM receives power via LED illumination.

Check the nearest CPU slot. Also, which PSU model are you using? I haven’t noticed any “rainbow” connectors on dependable setups lately.

Why are you attempting to run it without a heatsink?

The single RAM stick is placed in the second slot from the CPU as specified in the manual.

I connected both RAMs in slots A2 and B2, results were identical. For photos, I used only one slot despite trying all recommended options.

Can’t determine the exact PSU model since I’m away from home. There’s a heatsink present, but it hasn’t been installed yet. I tried placing it without it, but I didn’t want to put pressure on the CPU. I read that if it’s too tight, it could cause issues.

Based on the appearance of your cables, it seems the power supply unit is outdated. Those vibrant colored wires haven’t been used recently. Additionally, always ensure the machine is powered off before handling the CPU and its heatsink.

Tested the new PSU EVGA 1000 G5 today; no performance changes. Two RAM sticks installed, RGB lights are active, and the motherboard remains orange with LED flashes every four seconds. I’m curious if the brand-new CPU might be defective.

It's possible but uncommon. A bios update might be useful—mobo does support flashback. Look for bent pins on the CPU and replace them if needed. Make sure the heatsink is installed when powering up the PC; otherwise, temperatures can rise quickly.
