Upgrade the batch of HP laptops to WiFi 6 using a Realtek RTL8723DE. Tested configurations include Intel 9462 and Intel AX200, both stable on other devices. The Realtek card shows an empty E key while Intel cards have traces—this might be the cause. Consider alternative WiFi cards with blank E keys for reliable performance.

CNVio is an Intel technology, exclusive to certain Intel processors—like a specialized component in the wireless chipset. This information comes from Intel’s support site, which notes that the AX200 isn’t included among their offerings: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...eless.html. You might want to check alternatives such as the Amazon listing for CDW-C9852BE-Realtek-RTL8852BE-Bluetooth-WayPonDEV or explore rebranded Mediatek Wi-Fi 6 cards on eBay.

AX200/210 support PCIe connections while AX201/211 are CNVIo. However, as you mentioned, the issue likely stems from HP whitelist cards, making it probable that a BIOS modification is needed.

They're just another major maker of Wi-Fi 6 chips... Intel, Realtek, and Mediantek all offer them, probably hiding them in discarded laptops or unused spare parts.
