BSOD with CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED I confirmed in my BIOS that the first boot uses ‘Windows Boot Manager (M1: Samsung SSD 500GB)’ and the secure boot is active. The OS type is Windows UEFI, and I recovered from the DVD using diskpart. Please verify this setup looks right—thank you for your help! I’m trying to get back into Windows by Monday and need to fix this quickly. I checked disk 1 and saw the 100MB system partition is present, but disk 0 is missing. Are there any other steps I should take?
I repeated the whole procedure using only your OS SSD and still encountered the same issues. The problem persists—should this volume be labeled or marked as EFI somewhere?
I believe you should simply perform a fresh install on top of the existing setup, which should resolve the problems you're experiencing.
