I'm using LM XFCE 18.1 after the latest upgrade. Hibernation keeps failing consistently. This issue has persisted before the update, so it isn't related to that change. Various kernel options have been tested without success. During hibernation attempts I see: the system either powers off completely, enters a frozen state then restarts, or experiences a direct kernel panic—often locking the screen. It can also shut down abruptly or restart unexpectedly. This is critical for my workflow, so finding a solution is urgent. (Apologies if this isn't the right forum; I've already encountered similar complaints before.) P.S. I'm running from a USB drive, not a live disk—I actually have LM installed on a flash drive.

You're unsure about the exact size of the data you have, thinking it might be small since it's a RAM dump. However, you're using a 32GB USB drive with more than half available.
