Get assistance with dual boot setup.
I disabled secureboot because of dynamic disks or something similar. I’d prefer to install Linux on its own drive, but as a laptop I can’t do that.
I prepare my desktop using two drives and will erase the laptop, then tell Windows to quit and switch to a clean Ubuntu or Mint installation.
The main reason I haven't done that is because I have a complete copy of MS Office installed and I need to access other files and documents. I'm also too lazy to copy everything to my desktop. Plus, I use my laptop for testing and its strong compatibility with software is helpful.
