This year's inaugural Smash global event promises to be among the greatest in history. The competition has a rich legacy, notably setting the stage for the famous Mang0 vs Armada clash. Have you been keeping up with the action? Were any surprises reported? Which players are expected to reach the top eight? The excitement is palpable.

I'm trying to watch live games or Twitch archives. I haven't checked the player list yet, so I haven't made any calls.

Check out the exciting sneak peek for the Melee tournament—though I’m not a big fan of Smash 4, this preview will definitely appear on Smashboards soon.

Please share any updated bracket links you discover, and I can reference them. I've experienced trouble locating reliable sources before.

I was able to view the vlogs. It was a solid Top8 performance. Well done, Armada for overcoming Mango with Peach after depending heavily on Fox the previous year.

I was keeping track of the competition over the weekend, and day 2 was just as wild as finals day—plenty of surprising outcomes in the bracket. Soon after the event wrapped up, it’s already getting hailed as one of the greatest tournaments ever, and it’s tough to argue with that. The level of play, the energy of the audience, and the incredible results were truly impressive—perfect way to kick off the year. The videos for the rest of the competition are expected soon, but if you want more Smash content in a clear, easy-to-follow format, check out http://vods.co. Everything is neatly arranged by game, tournament, and bracket stage, making it simple to follow the whole event. There’s also a spoiler-free layout. =)
