Hello, I’m looking for suggestions on backup programs that can capture just your boot volume (CSmile while keeping another drive (DSmile connected to your Windows 10 system. Ideally, I’d prefer something free and user-friendly with a graphical interface. I’m not very comfortable with command-line tools, so a simple GUI would be best. I know I can disable D: in the Control Panel to exclude it from backups, but I want this to become a regular habit rather than a one-time task. If I don’t disable D:, it might be difficult to exclude its contents when creating the system image. Also, if I use default Windows utilities to restore from the backup, would I need the same proprietary software again, or could I work with the standard tools? Thank you for your help.
