I'm looking for a method to capture BF4 multiplayer audio without compression, aiming for the highest quality. I've tried using traps and suspect CPU encoding is involved, but my frames are dropping to around 5. Reducing resolution might help, though it won't affect the sound. Another option could be using a different program, as Shadowplay offers instant compression but might not be ideal.

Consider using OBS or XSplit. You'll need to compress many codecs unless you have a powerful machine, but you can still aim for high bitrate.

Record OBS to file carefully. Avoid setting your bitrate excessively high.

I’ve downloaded it quickly. What settings would work best for you?

Used MSI Afterburners Uncompressed capture during testing, it works better than fraps, though the improvement isn't huge but still noticeable.

Just to clarify, I don’t mind visuals as long as you can barely see what’s going on. What matters most is the sound.

Shadowplay handles 50mbps streaming smoothly or is it limited by the codec?

Consider using another program for the screen recording and Audacity for audio if you prioritize sound quality over gameplay capture.
